SUMMARY

Directs and manages multiple AMS maintenance facilities to ensure optimal performance across the organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Performs supervisory responsibilities to effectively manage area managers, technicians, and shop personnel through interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning work, appraising performance, disciplining, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Develops, implements, and refines AMS policies and procedures to ensure overall effective departmental performance.
• Travels to shop locations to assist shop managers in addressing staff issues.
• Conducts shop inspections to ensure compliance with all Company, OSHA, and EPA rules and regulations.
• Explores, implements and manages cost saving opportunities, including optimizing equipment performance and maintenance.
• Confers with executives and administrative personnel to review achievements and discuss required changes in goals and objectives as a result of current status and conditions.
• Establishes and maintains positive working relationships to meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Receives and carries out instructions.
• Maintains regular and predictable attendance.

• Exhibits ability to read, write, talk and hear; add, subtract, multiply and divide; and lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. as required.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or other related field; 10 to 15 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
